Tiburon has been providing 24/7 remote database support services to our clients for many years maintaining a 100% contract renewal rate. Tiburon provides DBA support services for IDMS, Datacom, ORACLE, DB2, INFORMIX and SQL Server. We customize our support packages to best fit our client's needs.

Tiburon will assign a specific DBA consulting team to you for 24/7 support. Our entire team will be familiar with your environment and insure that all of your Service Level Agreements (SLA'S) are met. Tiburon will provide database administration support, problem determination, performance / tuning, problem resolution and management reporting.

Our services include:

  • Perform regular maintenance such as database expansion, unloads, reloads, etc.
  • Review and document current production/test environment.
  • Apply Vendor maintenance such as APARS/PTF’s for the appropriate platform
  • Assist client's DBA to Provide tuning of systems and make recommendations for performance improvements or changes
  • Analyze and/or implement database changes required by the client
  • Recommend approach and plan to upgrade the client's environment
  • Provide consulting services for staff augmentation
  • Provide hands-on training of database administrators or other client personnel, as needed
  • Provide an agreed upon number of hours of support per year
  • Support legacy systems database platforms: IDMS, Datacom, Informix, IMS, DB2, Adabase.
  • Support distributed systems database platforms: SQL Server, Oracle, UDB, Sysbase, Mysql.
