ApplinX can be deployed as a J2EE Application Server Web-Module, that is able to process HTTP/HTTPS requests, or may be used directly from the JSP Framework.
In addition to the system's ability to run as a standalone server that processes TCP/IP client requests, ApplinX can also be deployed as a J2EE Application Server Web-Module, that is able to process HTTP/HTTPS requests, or may be used directly from the JSP Framework.
ApplinX can be seamlessly incorporated in any J2EE compliant application server such as IBM WebSphere, Sun iPlanet, BEA WebLogic, Oracle 9i and others.
This capability leverages existing standard infrastructure strategies by:
Reducing system memory requirements
Reducing CPU processing requirements
Offering enhanced security
Enabling effective and standard load balancing
Seamlessly incorporating firewall connectivity
Uniquely to ApplinX, maximum flexibility in the selection of the organization's strategic platforms is maintained, as ApplinX can be deployed within a J2EE application server while the end-solution platform can utilize other environments (e.g. Microsoft .NET).
The configuration of ApplinX within a J2EE application server is illustrated in the following diagram:
