In order to support our client engagements, provide
a development platform and an educational lab environment,
Tiburon maintains an IBM OS/390 running CA-Datacom,
CA-IDMS, IMS, VSAM, DB2 and Top Secret. Our distributed
platform has the full Oracle product suite installed,
including the last several Oracle database and
E-business suite applications, UDB, SQL Server,
MySQL and multiple enterprise products for both
the mainframe and distributed systems.
Tiburon Technologies has the capabilities to migrate existing COBOL
based applications between platforms while retaining existing business
logic and infrastructure code necessary to support the application systems’
business requirements. This provides a more cost effective lower risk solution
to alternative approaches.
This process includes the rehosting of:
• IBM Mainframe code currently running in a CICS environment
• Batch processing code to support file maintenance and reporting requirements
• Business logic necessary to support the flow of the business processing associated with an existing Mainframe application
• Current data stores that support the business process, and to modernize data storage where deemed appropriate and meaningful
• Other critical technical support requirements through alternative and target approaches
